John has worn many hats at every stop along the way, sharpening his instinct for people, personality, and creating memorable experiences. Now, as part of the J.MAK team, John gets to do what he loves most: build real relationships and match incredible people with incredible places. He brings a curious mind, a can-do attitude, and a big smile to everything he does. Outside of work, you'll likely find him catching live music, attending the theatre, or trying to satisfy that pesky sweet tooth (pro tip: never pass on dessert!). He's thrilled to be in a role where travel, personality, and purpose come together, and even more excited about what's ahead!

City, desert, wine country, mountain, coast. She has sold all of it, to some of the most discerning clients in the world. D.MC has built her career on relationships that outlast any one property. That instinct is exactly what she brings to J.MAK. She is based in Laguna Beach and is a proud mom to two beautiful daughters. When she is not on the road, the ocean is her reset button. Ask her about the best table in Carmel or the quietest stretch of sand in Orange County. She has an answer for both!!!

Born and raised in Georgia, Meg currently resides in Raleigh, NC.  This Southern Belle with a twist loves getting people excited about the things she is excited about, which is currently everything J.MAK!  Her passion is championing unique experiences and developing genuine and meaningful relationships.  When not traveling the world to meet with industry professionals, Meg can be found doting on her beloved pets, Monte, Luna and Poppy, and volunteering with her husband, Ray, at local animal rescue and foster organizations.

Before joining J.MAK, she led marketing and PR for two luxury travel agencies within one of the largest networks in the industry. You may recognize her byline from her travel writing in The New York Times, Architectural Digest, Travel + Leisure and others and her first book, NANTUCKET: Classic American Style 30 miles out to sea, was published summer 2020.

Jon Makhmaltchi is a luxury travel professional with 30+ years of expertise working with the world’s finest hospitality brands. Throughout his career, he’s been a part of nearly every aspect of the hospitality business, from sales and management to hotel openings, including a stint at the front desk. His mother even maintains that his first two words were “room service”!

After heading up sales for a leading luxury hotel consortium this Manhattan native launched J.MAK Hospitality in 2013 to help brands build relationships and partnerships in fun, innovative and authentic ways. He and his team work with luxury hotels, destination experts and other travel related services around the world to connect them with key travel agency partners and broader audiences who will impact their businesses and drive awareness. A natural connector, personal relationships have always been the foundation of Jon’s work. And Jon’s personality, and the personalities of his clients, shine through in the work of J.MAK Hospitality.

Jon lives in Rhinebeck, the Adirondacks and Watch Hill. with his husband, son, daughter, and two cats. He’s known for fast (and funny) email responses, and for his catchphrases “HOORAY!!!”, “OMG!!!” and “LUVYA!!”

Casey Loeber is a web designer based in New York, NY. As a Hudson Valley native, C.LOE grew up across the street from J.MAK in the quaint hamlet of Rhinecliff. After graduating from SUNY New Paltz and career in accounting, C.LOE made the jump to digital marketing in 2020 by launching Seaport Studio. In 2021, C.LOE joined the J.MAK team to develop the website and grow the J.MAK brand online.
